KSM Points Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to KSM Points, the rewards program run by Kerrisdale Skin Medical (“KSM”, “we”, “us”) on kerrisdaleskinmedical.com. By creating an account, or by earning, claiming or redeeming points, you agree to them. The KSM Points page gives a plain summary. If the two ever differ, these terms apply.

1. Membership
1.1 Membership is free. All you need is a KSM online account.
1.2 One account per person. Points can’t be moved between accounts or combined with someone else’s.
1.3 Points are earned only on orders placed on kerrisdaleskinmedical.com. Purchases paid at the clinic front desk don’t earn points.
1.4 Points are held against your account. Orders placed as a guest, or before your account existed, don’t earn points automatically. See section 3 for how to claim them.
2. Earning points
2.1 Purchases. 1 point for every $1 you spend, including on gift cards. Points are worked out on what you pay after discounts, not counting tax, shipping or fees.
2.2 Treatments. Non-medical treatments bought on kerrisdaleskinmedical.com, such as facials, peels, IPL and laser hair removal, earn 2 points for every $1. Medical treatments, including injectables, skin boosters, PRP, IV drips and anything that needs a prescription, don’t earn points. If an item belongs to more than one category, the lower rate applies.
2.3 Creating an account. 100 points, once per person.
2.4 First order. A bonus on top of what your first order earns: 400 points for first orders paid by 31 December 2026, and 150 points after that. Once per person. If you claim guest orders (section 3), the bonus applies only if one of them was your first order with us.
2.5 Product reviews. 100 points for each review we publish, one review per product. We publish honest reviews whether they’re positive or negative, and the rating you give never affects your points. Reviews that are abusive, off-topic, copied or not genuine aren’t published and don’t earn points. We may limit review points to products you bought from us.
2.6 Referrals. 250 points when someone you refer with your personal link completes their first order. Referring yourself, or another account that belongs to you, doesn’t count.
2.7 Points are added when your order reaches Processing. You can see your balance under My Account → My Points.
2.8 Promotions can change how many points you earn for a limited time. While a promotion runs, its own terms apply.
3. Claiming guest orders
3.1 If you bought as a guest, we may email you a link to claim the points from those orders.
3.2 The link creates an account for the email address on the order (or adds the orders to your account if you have one) and adds the points. It works once, for that email address only, until the date shown in the email.
3.3 Only skincare products earn points this way. Treatments, gift cards, and refunded or cancelled orders aren’t included.
3.4 Each order can be claimed once. Claimed points count as earned on the day you claim them, so the expiry clock in section 5 starts then.
3.5 If you haven’t been sent a claim link, guest orders can’t be added later.
4. Redeeming points
4.1 Every 50 points is worth $1.00.
4.2 You need at least 250 points ($5.00) to redeem. From there you can redeem any amount up to your available balance.
4.3 Points can only be used on orders with a subtotal of $150.00 or more, after discounts and before tax and shipping.
4.4 Redeemed points become store credit in your account. You can redeem at checkout, or from My Points at any time. Either way, store credit from points can only be used on an order that meets the $150.00 minimum. Store credit from gift cards has no minimum.
4.5 If your order drops below $150.00 after points credit is applied, the credit comes off that order and stays in your balance for a future qualifying order.
4.6 Points can only be redeemed on kerrisdaleskinmedical.com while you’re signed in. They can’t be redeemed over the phone or at the clinic.
4.7 Store credit, including credit from points, can’t be used to buy gift cards.
4.8 Unless a promotion says otherwise, points can be used together with discount codes.
4.9 A redemption can’t be turned back into points.
5. Expiry
5.1 Points expire if your account has no earning or redeeming for 12 months. Any earning or redeeming resets the clock for your whole balance.
5.2 Your expiry date is shown on My Points. Expired points can’t be reinstated.
6. Returns, refunds and cancellations
6.1 If an order is refunded, returned or cancelled, the points it earned come off your balance.
6.2 If you paid partly with store credit and the order is cancelled, that credit goes back to your balance. If such an order is refunded, the store credit part is refunded as store credit.
6.3 If you’ve already spent points earned on an order you later return, we won’t ask you to pay back the difference.
7. Value and transfer
7.1 Points and store credit from points have no cash value. They can’t be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash or combined with another person’s balance.
7.2 Points are lost if an account is closed.
8. Treatments
Treatments are medical and aesthetic services. Points never change the clinical process. Every treatment still needs a consultation and is performed only if it’s appropriate for you. Holding points never obliges you to book anything.
9. Misuse
We may suspend an account, remove points or store credit, or cancel a redemption if we reasonably believe points were earned, claimed or used through fraud, abuse, multiple accounts, reviews or referrals that aren’t genuine, or any other breach of these terms.
10. Changes to the program
We may change these terms, the earning rates or the value of points, or end the program. We’ll post material changes on this page at least 30 days before they take effect. If the program ends, you’ll have at least 30 days to redeem your balance.
